Nanshan Buddhism Center
One of the largest Buddhist complexes in Asia, covering a vast area of 50 km². It consists of an imposing Guanyin Temple with a 108-meter statue of the Goddess of Mercy on the roof and a landscape park designed in accordance with classical Feng Shui traditions. The complex is located about 40 km from the resort town of Sanya. It is located at the foot of Nanshan Mountain.

The extensive museum exposition consists of valuable art objects belonging to different eras. It houses collections of Chinese porcelain, paintings, weapons, Chinese silk clothes, jade products, precious metals and sculptures. The age of some exhibits reaches several thousand years. In a separate room, you can see a unique collection of paintings made on silk fabric and ancient calligraphic scrolls.
One of the bays of the South China Sea, about 30 km away from Sanya. The name of the place is translated from Chinese as "dragon coast". On the picturesque coast of Yalong, the best hotels of Hainan are located, which are surrounded by forests, mountains, snow-white beaches and magnificent tropical gardens. The bay is considered the most prestigious resort of the entire island. Locals usually call the bay "heaven on earth".
Dadonghai is located near Sanya. It can be reached on foot from the city. Dongshan Safari Park
Natural park established in 1999. On its territory, tourists can observe the life of exotic animals that are in their natural habitat. Ostriches, black swans, parrots, monkeys, crocodiles, lions and other fauna live here. Children will be delighted with the enclosure with cubs and cubs, and adults will be able to watch the process of feeding adult predators.
A reserve created for the purpose of studying and breeding Guanxi macaques, a subspecies of small monkeys. It is located about 80 km from Sanya in a quiet and remote area of Hainan Island. About 2000 individuals live in the park. They roam freely along the alleys, sit on trees, stones and the ground, and also hang in clusters on visitors, constantly trying to get into bags, pockets and steal things they like.
A natural reserve near Yalong Bay, where a unique collection of butterflies from different parts of the world is collected. Also, a large number of exotic insects (more than 2000 species) live here. There is a small museum and gift shop for tourists. The best time to visit the reserve is in the morning, before the sweltering heat of the day has set in.
Park "Deer turned his head"

Volcano Ma An
The volcano is located on the territory of the national park of the same name. Its slopes are covered with dense tropical vegetation, sometimes turning into impenetrable jungle. Thanks to natural steps made of frozen lava, tourists have the opportunity to climb to the crater itself - the heart of the volcano that has frozen many millennia ago. There is a museum and a restaurant on the slopes of the mountain. The ascent to the top is equipped with comfortable benches for rest.
The mountain range, which got its name due to the similarity with the shape of the palm (“wuzhishan” in Chinese means “five fingers”). The highest peak of the ridge reaches 1867 meters. There are many trekking trails along the territory of the massif, along which you can climb two of the five peaks of Wuzhishan. Several hundred species of tropical fauna live here and about 170 orchid species grow.
Xinglong Botanical Garden
An 80 hectare tropical garden founded in 1957 as part of the scientific base of the Agricultural Institute, which was engaged in the study and conservation of valuable plants. In addition to ornamental crops, coffee, vanilla, black pepper and fruits are grown in the garden. In a local store, tourists can buy fragrant coffee and Silun vanilla tea, which are made from local products, as a keepsake.
The relic jungle of Yanoda is located in the southern part of Hainan near the Qixian Range. More than 45 km² of forests have been turned into a landscaped tourist area, which includes a landscape park with a lotus lake, a river, waterfalls and a tropical orchid greenhouse. The park is equipped with walking paths, suspension bridges and a rope crossing thrown over the gorge. For tourists seeking unity with nature, a tent camp is organized in the jungle.
A small island with an area of 2 km², located about 20 minutes by boat from Hainan Island. The tourist infrastructure of the place began to develop relatively recently, so Pirate Island still retains the charm of untouched nature.
