Yeisk Spit

A sand-shell spit about 3 km long, which cuts into the Sea of ​​\u200b\u200bAzov, is part of the Yeysk Peninsula. Until 1914, its length was 9 km, but a strong hurricane eroded the soil and separated most of the land, which turned into an independent island (it is called the "Island of the Seven Winds" or "Green Island").
