Arkhipo-Osipovka is part of the Big Gelendzhik zone, it is one of the most popular resorts on this stretch of coast due to the large number of entertainment available: museums, a dolphinarium, an oceanarium, an amusement park, a water park and good beach infrastructure. In summer and September, a lot of people come to the village, so it can be very difficult to find solitude. This must be taken into account when planning a vacation.
Arkhipo-Osipovka is preferred by families with children, as at a distance of 10 meters from the coastline the sea is very shallow - even kids can safely enter the water. Most of the resort's entertainment is aimed at young tourists, adults can entertain themselves by going to restaurants and nightclubs, going on excursions and hiking along nature trails that run through the surroundings.

Arkhipo-Osipovka is a rather popular Black Sea resort. That is why in the season its central beach is literally overcrowded. The coastal strip is sandwiched between rocks in a narrow bay, it consists of a mixture of sand and pebbles, the gentle entrance to the water is completely sandy, so it is convenient for children to swim here. The beach is equipped with showers, toilets, deck chairs, wooden decks lead to the sea.
Museum Complex "Mikhailovskoe Fortification"
Mikhailovskoye fortification is a modern reconstruction of a 19th century building that protected the Russian garrison during the Caucasian War. During one of the battles, Arkhip Osipov burned it to stop the advance of the highlanders. The fortress was rebuilt in 2005 according to old drawings and records of eyewitnesses. The complex is made of wood. It consists of a gate, observation towers, a fence and a smokehouse. Inside there is a museum, a hotel and a restaurant.
In Arkhipo-Osipovka there is a rehabilitation center for astronauts. Here they rest after flights, during which they experience serious stress. The museum was opened in 2016. Its collection consists of more than 1,000 items, including exhibits from Baikonur, space suits, real equipment, models of launch vehicles and stations, and space simulators.
Museum of Bread and Wine
The exposition is part of the Mikhailovsky Fortification complex. In the "bread" part there are various tools used to process grain, dishes, pastries, samples of wheat varieties, models of mills and millstones, a Russian stove. In the "wine" you can learn a lot about the history of winemaking, look at ancient amphoras and original moonshine stills (there is also a small tasting room). The museum complex includes a real reconstructed mill.
The oceanarium is located in the central part of the village, it is quite difficult to pass by it, moreover, visiting the underwater kingdom will be a great alternative to a beach holiday. The collection of fish and marine life was collected from all over the world so that visitors could see unusual and colorful tropical fish, dangerous piranhas and sharks, lazy stingrays and other amazing creatures.
GoodZone is more suitable for fans of extreme rides: steep slides, descents and turns, although there is also a special zone for children with safer activities. The water park has a petting zoo, an entertainment complex with various games, a beach volleyball court, a cable car and a restaurant. The smallest ones will be looked after by nannies and animators.
Amusement park "Malibu"
The park is part of an entertainment complex, which, in addition to it, includes a crocodile farm and a dolphinarium. It is an area with attractions: carousels, swings, trampolines, bungee rides, themed pavilions like the Panic Room, go-carts and a Ferris wheel. In the evening, there are nightclubs on the territory of Malibu where you can dance and watch shows.
In seaside resorts, dolphinariums are the most visited and favorite places by tourists, as performances are interesting for viewers of all ages, and both adults and children want to watch amazing creatures. Bottlenose dolphins and fur seals perform various tricks under the guidance of experienced instructors in the Arkhipo-Osipov Theater of Marine Animals.
A crocodile farm is another constant attribute of a seaside city, even if there have never been crocodiles in these places. Several toothy reptiles brought from Southeast Asia live in Arkhipo-Osipovka, turtles, snakes and lizards also live in enclosures. The farm opened in 2010 and since then it has been full of visitors - many tourists want to see the formidable reptiles.
Bringing Down the House
A popular tourist attraction, which is an upside down house, where furniture “hangs” from the floor, and visitors are invited to walk along the ceiling. Against the backdrop of such an unusual setting, original photographs are obtained, which is what tourists use, taking the most incredible poses and trying to make more unusual shots.
St. Nicholas Church
Church of the beginning of the 20th century, which miraculously survived in Soviet times (only the bell tower was destroyed and the dome was removed). After closing, a store was located on its territory. In the 1990s, the building was returned to the Orthodox community. As a result of the restoration, the belfry and the dome were restored, and four more domes were added to the architectural ensemble. The church is located in the center of the village and has a Sunday school.
Memorial cross to Arkhip Osipov
Arkhip Osipov - a private of the imperial army, who died in 1840 during the offensive of the highlanders, having previously blown up the powder warehouse of the Mikhailovsky fortification. In 1876, a memorial cross was erected in his honor 500 meters from the embankment. Together with the pedestal, it reaches 6 meters in length. In 1889, at the request of local residents, the village was renamed Arkhipo-Osipovka.
The trail of health is about 5 km long, which starts in the park of the sanatorium "Arkhipo-Osipovka" and goes to the mountains. It is pleasant to walk along the route, breathing in the healing aroma of the pine forest and admiring the lush Black Sea vegetation. There are observation decks along the trail with a beautiful view of the sea. One of the most picturesque sites is the suspension bridge across the Volcano River.
In the area of the village there are several dozen ancient formations that served as burial places or places of worship for our ancestors - clarity on this issue has not yet been achieved. Today they are popular tourist sites, where mass excursions are brought. Some people consider dolmens to be places of power where the energy of the universe circulates.
A cascade of seven waterfalls, located near Arkhipo-Osipovka on the Teshebs River (translated from Adyghe - "Golden"). Three streams are quite impressive in size up to 16 meters in height, the rest barely reach 3 meters. A hiking trail with a length of just over 1 km leads to the waterfalls. Even travelers without special physical training are able to overcome it.
