Top attractions in Andorra

Andorra is a small principality in the Pyrenees between France and Spain, and it runs on two things: skiing in winter and duty-free shopping year-round. Andorra la Vella sits in a narrow valley, and the ski areas of Grandvalira and Vallnord are within a short drive of it.

The guides on this page cover Andorra as a whole. There is no airport — access is by road from Toulouse or Barcelona, three hours or so either way, and mountain passes can be affected by snow in winter. Summer turns the same valleys over to hiking and mountain biking, with thermal spas as the other draw. Andorra is outside the EU customs union, so purchase limits apply when crossing back.
